La vallée des Merveilles
Valley of Marvels is a part of Mercantour National Park, located 80 km north from Nice. This area is covered by almost 40 000 open air engravings from Bronze Age. Landscape is dominated by Mont Bégo (Divine Mountain) with an altitude 2872 meters.
Main paths go from Refuge des Merveilles,
Refuge de Valmasque,
Refuge de Nice
or from the parking at Pont du Gountet through beautiful views of Vallon Empuonrame.
