Canal de la Siagne

Canal on the river Siagne was opened in 1868 to provide water supply for area between Cannes and Saint Césaire. This over 40 kilometres long structure still carries the water overcoming the uneven ground thanks to spectacular bridges.

Along the canal there is a nice path. The official part starts near Chapelle Saint Mathieu in Grasse (Route de Saint Mathieu - D7) and ends in Mougins (Chemin de Pigranel).

However, many spectacular sites, like high, arcaded bridges are located earlier. This one is placed near the Chemin du pont de Nice.
